4 Stars Needs better speakers
I really like my 885T, but it needs better and louder speakers. I would also like to find an external speaker to use for the blue tooth part. Would buy again though.

4 Stars Garmin 855T
This is the first GPS system I have ever used. I was skeptical a best when I purchased my Garmin. I have hears stories of the GPS not giving the correct directions or taking an off the normal path route. I bought the GPS because I was getting ready to take an extended trip and wanted something that would get me to my distination in the shortest amount of time and once there would help me find hotels, restuarants and POI. The Garmin 855T did all that and more. This is the device that consumer reports recommended and that was the main reason for me buying this particular unit. I am very pleased with the units preformance except for the bluetooth phone. The sound was not as clear as it should have been and people I spoke to through the garmin told me that my voice was not clear some of the time during the conversation. I noticed that on my end I had to asked the person I was speaking with to repeat what they said also. This became annoying after just a few “please repeat yourself” or “whats”. Every other function worked perfectly and I am very impressed with the unit. I would highly recommend this unit to anyone who is looking to buy a GPS.

3 Stars Unit Sound
The maps and lane changes this unit shows are superior to my last street pilot unit. Although, I’m very displeased with the volumn control. My street pilot had twice the volumn of my new unit. I would not recomend this unit to anyone. It’s very hard to hear the unit while driving.
